Pavel Otdelnov
Graduated from the Nizhny Novgorod Art College in 1999, in 2005 from the painting faculty of the Moscow State Academic Art Institute named after V.I. Surikov, course of Pavel Nikonov. In 2007 he became MFA, the Moscow State Academic Art Institute named after V.I. Surikov, and in 2015 he graduated from the Institute for Contemporary Arts. In 2005-2006 Pavel received a grant from the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation; in 2008 he received a medal from the Moscow Union of Artists “For achievements in development of fine arts”. Otdelnov became a laureate of the Lomonosov-Art 2013 Prize and a finalist of the international competition “STRABAG Art award International” (Austria) in 2013. In 2015 Pavel was a finalist for the Kandinsky Prize. In 2017 the nominee of Kandinsky Prize (nomination "project of the year", the project "the White sea. Black hole"), laureate of the prize in contemporary art named after Sergei Kuryokhin 2016 (special prize of the French Institute), finalist of the prize in contemporary art named after Sergei Kuryokhin 2016 (nomination "the Best work of visual art", the project "White sea. Black hole").
