Alexander Dashevsky
Born in 1980 in Leningrad. Graduated from the Economics Department of St. Petersburg state University of film and television. He studied at the faculty of theory and history of arts of the St. Petersburg state Academic Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture named after I.E. Repin at the Russian Academy of Arts. Since 2005 member of the IFA. Since 2006 member of the Association "Free Culture". Since 2006 member of the Society of lovers of painting and drawing. The project "Partial loss of / Moderate positive dynamics" in the short list of the "Kandinsky Prize" (2013). He entered the list of seven most promising young Russian artists according to Forbes magazine (2013). Paintings of "Electric power" award at the Arte Laguna Prize, First prize painting section (2016).
The works are in the collections of the Moscow Museum of modern art (Moscow), the State Russian Museum (St. Petersburg), the Museum of modern art "Erarta" (St. Petersburg), the Museum "Tsarskoselskaya Collection" (St. Petersburg), Krasnoyarsk Museum center (Krasnoyarsk), the National art Museum of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia).
